Manager Joe Torre stepped down after a three year run as the Dodgers manager.  Replacing him is former lifetime Yankee Don Mattingly. The entire 2010 coaching staff was retained.  As for players, C Brad Ausmus retired and the team lost free agents C Russell Martin (signed on with the Yankees), LHP George Sherill (signed on with with the Braves), OF Reed Johnson (signed on with the Cubs) and INF. Ronnie Belliard (signed on with the Yankees).

The team signed RHP Jeff Weaver and OF Scott Podsednik and the big question is who will remain of the teams 13 pitchers. With only one lefty, Hong-Chih Kuo is sure to make the roster.
